Only asking because AT&T changed their update service to the S24 series to get them straight from Samsung like all other carriers do, instead of hosting the updates on AT&T's own update servers.
What I don't know is if they are doing that with previous devices yet, so that's why I'm asking.
Yeah. I was an ACE member on the AT&T support forums, I was able to back-channel ask one of the other members who worked with AT&T support about that. He had to ask the people who really know this stuff but did confirm that they did change the update process for the S24s.interesting

That forum was just shut down at the end of June and I never had the chance to follow up about the other devices.
We all think it was shut down because us customer members were giving better advice than any of the "real" AT&T support people. Although they do still have a presence on Reddit, so that's where I moved to.

Yep. T-Mobile has always done their updates directly through Samsung. Same with Verizon and every other carrier world-wide.My T-Mobile update had the festive looking top banner, update was quick.
