I'm having trouble updating my Mate 10 Pro ( UK, Unlocked , single SIM, first activated in June 2018 ) to the latest software update. Realised on 23/07/2018.
Update which I was informed via software update notification.
Huawei software update BLA-L09 8.0.0.132(C782)
Lots of promise with this update Eg. Hand held night shots mode.
After downloading the update (over 1GB) and having phone fully charged I attempted to install it. It is that , that "Authentication falure" massage pops up. It happened 6 times now, I cleared all the cache and the usual tricks. Still I am unable to install it.
Anybody here with similar issue, if so how do we deal with it ?
