Quick question. Does it matter where you set the bar if auto brightness is turned on?? In other words, if auto brightness is on then it's all the one wether the bar is set low or high right??
Unless it has a "+/- 1" or something like that, it won't matter. The slider doesn't adjust when it's on auto brightness, so whatever it was set to before doesn't matter.Quick question. If you adjust it after it's on auto, it's no longer on autoI have s6 and it does matter. It does give a brighter or lower auto adjus when you slide it.
Yes it is.If you adjust it after it's on auto, it's no longer on auto
I have google now disabled. What way do you guys have yours set? Iam getting good battery life from my s6 edge but thats mainly due to the fact that i keep screen brightness at around 20% + auto on!! However , the screen looks way better with the brightness cranked up further so much so that its almost a shame to have the brightness reduced imo as you cant quiet appreciate just how good the screen is!! If i crank up the brightness though i am sacrificing battery life![]()
What do you guys feel is optimal for keeping the display looking bright and punchy without it using way too much battery?
Unless you have a separate slider for auto brightness, adjusting the only slider there will remove it from auto. That's just how it worksYes it is.

Tnx...btw I am a woman...for next timeHe's right. Mine stays on Auto too.

Interesting. That seems counter-intuitive. ThanksSo not anymore apparently. S6 rules again![]()
Mine doesn't. I can adjust while on auto and it stays on auto.
My data manager - playstore applicationWhat's the Data usage app sitting at the top of your notifications that has a graph for Mobile and WiFi? Is it a built in phone carrier app? I like the look of it and how much data/wifi you've consumed and how many days remain on your billing cycle!
Have you looked at my screenshots?Interesting. That seems counter-intuitive. Thanks
