Android Central Question

Hi.
I'm looking to purchase a Galaxy 5 Pro. I would like to be able to continuously determine if there is any irregular heart activity, such as AFIB.

1. If I set Auto Heart Rate to continuous, will the data be stored on the watch if my phone is not present ? How much data ?

2. Later, when the phone is present, will the stored data sync to my Samsung A14 phone in the Health App ?

3. Can the Health App then store and analyze this data, looking for heart irregularities ?

4. Could the Health App then produce some sort of ECG in a pdf file that can be sent to a doctor ?

5. Is there any detailed info on what the Health App can do, including ECG/AFIB ?

Thanks for listening,
Mike from Ontario, Canada

I don't think you can continuously monitor for afib... you have to put your finger on the home button to use the ECG app (presumably it's a 2 line?). I don't know if it can detect signs of afib without using the ecg app as, to my knowledge, I've never been in afib, but I don't think it can. heart rate and oxygen saturation data does seem to be stored on the watch and synched, for however much help that is... I just ran an ECG, and you can export a PDF of the results.

Hopefully someone a bit more familiar with this stuff will turn up, but hopefully I've helped at least a little lol....

This is my understanding also, that you can only manually initiate such a scan/monitor, it can't be set for automatic/continous.
