Auto hyperlinks?

Is it possible to create a custom pattern recognition for android similar to how it recognises URLs or phone numbers.

Specifically in text and gmail to launch my app?

I'm looking for AA1111122222 or AA11112222 or AA111222 where A is any letter 1 or 2 is any number. Could include spaces between the letters and groups of numbers such as AA 111 222 or AA111 222.

I wonder if you can register an intent for a pattern for instance.

you can use regular expressions to define custom patterns, then search for words that match that regex. i dont quite understand your question too... are you trying to make an app that searches gmail and change all matched words into links that launch your app? that's impossible for security purposes.
