Having issues with the auto rotating the screen. For some reason it stopped working. If I go into the display settings and turn it on it will stay in landscape mode. If I turn it off, it will only stay in portrait mode. I've done the G sensor calibration over and over and it doesn't seem to help. Had this issue when I first got the Thunderbolt in March, but it seemed to start working on it's own after the first few weeks or so.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi Tim,

I just started experiencing the same thing, and I cannot figure it out, but I am curious when did yours start? I think it may have been the latest Motorola update. My phone literally started doing this on Friday the 28th of October.

Do the G-sensors actually work otherwise (you can download tons of apps to try them out, including bubble levels, or AndroSensor which tests out ALL of your sensors)

I really can't remember the exact day. It has been this way for about 10 days or so.

The G sensor test does seem to work. It does say the test is complete afterwards. Don't know if the latest Gingerbread update had anything to do with it or not?
