This morning I turned on my phone and the phone automatically dialed Verizon and that music update thing was playing and then the connection restarted. This happened to anyone else?

I'm not aware of any way to get the sim to reinitialize without rebooting.

This has happened to me twice. I looked for answers online when it happened but didnt find anything. This was the first post I have seen about it. Does anyone know why this happens?

I saw it happen on my GN during the last big outage. I think it was calling *22899 or something like that. It was late at night and the light from the screen woke me up.

That is the number to get the PRL update. I do it once a month. I am not sure if it is necessary for the Nexus, though.

How do you do that once a month on a 4G LTE phone?
