Automatic PRL Update

I noticed that my phone screen came on randomly today and saw a message saying it was upgrading something. When it was finished, it said "PRL has been upgraded".

I've never seen my phone update it's PRL on its own before. I'm rooted and jsut figured all updates would be done manually.

I got a PRL update today also. MY phone is stock. I'd hazard a guess it has something to do with the start of the Network Vision changes that should be coming online soon.

Mines too. But I needed to stay on 12121 since my home city doesn't have Sprint coverage and 60686 doesn't provide 3G roaming..

FWIW I ran a PRL update and bumped to 60687 from 60686. Didn't happen automatically, but at least it did something.

Just figured I'd respond as I just watched my phone go through the "automatic prl update". Had it plugged into the dock in front of me and cycle through the update.

LOL........I'm rooted running ICS so I'm not worried about that update.
