Automating Scripts for Android?

Hi

Is there an App that enables you to write scripts that will automate tasks on Android, including opening other Apps and taking actions within them?

I don't just want a script to alter Android settings. For example I'd like a script to open the Excel Spreadsheet App, copy and paste data from one place to another, and then close the App.

Ideally it could record my keystrokes into a script which I can then run later.

I frequently use Excel on Android for entering data. If you use Excel on a PC it has Virtual Basic built in to automate actions, but VB is not available on Android, hence my question.

Modes and Routines can do some automation for launching Apps and such. However, not what you're looking for with Excel. There's certainly an ability to do what you described on a PC, separately from VB. I'm not sure to what extent on a phone. A quick Google search results in a few different Android Apps and Tools, but not sure if any of those would do all of what you seem to be looking for. Hopefully, others will also chime in.
