Does anyone know how quickly a handset intro by motorola at CES typically translates to availability in the market?

You worded this a little different... but come on... it's the same as http://forums.androidcentral.com/droid-razr-maxx/149055-any-mention-release-date.html
My question is different because it relates to history and not what people have heard/seen about release date. If motorola has typically taken 5 months to bring a product to market after CES, that's very different than if they typically bring it to market in 5 weeks. Sometimes history is a helpful predictor of the future.
I'm just looking for any additional data to help inform my decision as I am running up against a cutoff on my return period.

Just read this on the RAZR MAXX page... and confirmed on Motorola's website... it will be available on Thursday, Jan 26th: DROID RAZR MAXX - Extended Battery Life - Android Smartphone - Overview - Motorola Mobility, Inc. USA
