It will be here before July 30 not even August 1. The rumor 2 price is dropped till July 27 so that's a big hint. I bought the OV June 18, hopefully this phone will be out before July 18 so I can return my phone July 20 is painfully as a release date for me but livable. The price is between 239.99 and 299.99 - perfect range

Very much looking to leave Cincinnati Bell. Was going to hold out until the new iPhone was available before switching to Verizon. However, with their new tiered pricing for data the Virgin Mobile $25 plan is looking like a better option and is great for how me and my wife use our phones. The Motorola Triumph looks like a good phone to switch from the our currently owned Blackberry phones.

Return the OV & get one other those cheap phones for a week then return that (or keep the cheap one as a spare)

The Price is $299 plus tax and shipping at Best Buy, I already place my order and now I just have to wait...... !!!

Anybody think waiting tell release to snag one up, or at least closer to release, in case Radio Shack or anyone else decides to lower the price? Do we think this thing will sell out fairly fast and be tough to snag up right after release?

I don't think I'd be willing to go more than $200 at this point.

I bought the (non-android) LG Rumor Touch when it came out, then the Samsung Intercept right when it came out, then the Optimus right when it came out... getting tired of buying a new phone every six months! I like the Optimus enough I could see just staying with it.

The Triumph's 4.1" screen and HD video are the only reason I could see even paying $200.

At a $300 price point, I highly doubt the Triumph will sell out... maybe a few shops in large urban areas

You know, that seems true. but from what I've read there certainly seems to be quite a few people willing to pay that price. A lot of people don't care about the price of the phones. Just the price of the plans that go with the phone.

I agree. The price of the plan is the selling point for me. I would easily pay $500 for the phone.

Do we still not have a definite release date on this thing? Seems odd that it has been up for preorder for awhile now and they still haven't released anything besides late July. Late July is not that far away.

Best buy can't be that far behind RS. I am surprised we are 6 days from the alleged release date and there has been no announcement from either shop.
