Avoiding Amazon Appstore altogether?

It was WAY easier to download all of my Amazon apps onto my new Nexus than it was from the Market. That said, I hate how long it takes for updates to come to the Amazon market.

It was WAY easier to download all of my Amazon apps onto my new Nexus than it was from the Market. That said, I hate how long it takes for updates to come to the Amazon market.

Interestingly, all my Android Market apps were available for download almost immediately and they downloaded very quickly one after the other. In the Amazon Appstore however, they took forever to load the list of downloadable apps. Thats when I promptly uninstalled the Appstore.

what i dislike beyond the worthless notifications of apps i've deleted is the fact that apps i've deleted still show up on the my apps screen, with no way to remove them. i'm ready to delete the app as well.

Same reasons as you. Just cannot control the app as much as I would like to.

As soon as I installed the Amazon App store my Incredible started rebooting randomly every other day or so. I uninstalled, and have never had another reboot. I will not install the amazon app store on my GN for any reason.

I wonder how many undiagnosed problems people have are really due to amazon?
