awaiting my droid

So i finally made the leap back into the motorolla world, i have owned phones from them in the past and most notably, the razor, although a very good phone was very very slow. I am hoping that with this phone and all i have the opportunity to do, ie:apps, navigation, texting, that the phone will not start to lag out

for those of you that have downloaded a bunch of apps and have had the chance to use the phone for a few days now how is the performance holding up?

i am coming from a blackberry so downloading everything you want it entirely out of the question if you still want optimal performance

the phone is really fast. there's basically no lag in daily use.

Is great. Man, i bet it burns to have to wait for the phone. My brother felt the same way. Once you get, play with it as much as you can you won't be disappointed. Enjoy. Drrrrrooooiiiiiddddd!!!!!

Totally agree with everyone else; I see no lag issues at all. Just read up on all the threads and you'll be a step ahead by the time it's in your hands.

The nice thing is the only real complaints you hear are minor tweaks, and OS solutions, other than that MUCH better then the last latest new thing Verizon did last year with the Storm

As with any new OS, you will find a small learning curve, but a couple short days you should be right on par with it.
