AWS for the Rezound?

I see Verizon is starting to activate their new AWS network. Wonder if there is any way for the Rezound to support this? My guess is no.

But I love my Rezound. That plus the fact that it works. I'm really waiting for the next generation of phones supporting Advanced LTE and VoLTE.

AWS operates in the UMTS 2100Mhz band for downlink and the UMTS 1700Mhz for the uplink, and the Rezound does not support that with it's radios (hardware radios, not software). But why bother with it, there is no significant advantage over LTE... it has been stated that Verizon's implementation of AWS will not increase throughput at all with current hardware, even in the Galaxy S4, a new generation of hardware (after the S4) will be needed that supports a merging of LTE and AWS before any significant improvements in performance will be seen.
