Not sure about the USA price but the 6gb is a bit high for me. Hopefully it won't be that expensive when it's released in the USA.The 6GB version seems to be priced between $600-650. 4GB version is less than $500. There is a starter version is less than $450.
Those numbers are converted from the CNY to USD, not sure where it will sit when it's released in US.

Hope this phone isn't all hype.
I'm also wondering when they are updates how quickly it will get those updates. If this phone doesn't do well, HTC is going to be in deep trouble.
Specs wise this phone is better than HTC 10 in many ways, targets the same group of people with the same value proposition but lower price point. Great audio, metal design, better warranty, near stock experience. But on the top of that, it packs arguably better camera hardware, different (better?) fingerprint sensor placement... and it seems to have the pressure sensitive screens like iPhone.
Now the software is an unknown factor. We don’t know how well it's designed and optimized, how fast it will be updated. The camera software seems to be pretty fast but not sure about the photo and video quality. The software optimization also determines it's real battery life.
2 years of replacements warranty with two way shipping included is of great value but not sure how well ZTE is going to stand behind that promise and how fast the replacement is going to be executed.
I still prefer HTC 10 's design a little better. It feels more elegant and reserved. This one feels a bit show-off. But I can see this phone appeals directly to HTC's fan base, as well as a much wider audience.
Looking forward to review videos.

I think that you meant if the phone sells well HTC is in trouble. HTC is in trouble. They were in trouble before the Axon 7. I was a diehard HTC fan and have owned 6 different models. I purchased and returned the HTC 10 because the speakers sucked compared to the M7 and M8. The Axon 7 is the phone that HTC should have built. With regards to the software, UI, the Axon is rumored to have the option of stock Android. $200 less than the HTC 10 for me makes the Axon 7 a no brainer.
