Back button behavior

Coming from a Note4 I could back out of menu options/apps using the back button. Now it requires hitting the home button. Anybody know if this can be changed to the legacy behavior?

Ummm... I can still back out of settings/options and most apps with the back button. What exactly are you trying to do that is not letting you with the back button?
