Was loving my Note 8 but just had to try the iphone X. Got it, tried it for a few weeks. It's the best iPhone ever made but I missed the Note more than I loved the X. My daughter loves her *new iPhone X.
Indeed, the most logical thing. One thing I've learned is that I really prefer a smaller phone. I've been using Notes and iPhone + for a few years now because I bought into the "big screen" hype. I like the size of the X better than the Note 8 so the only logical thing to do is get the S9 immediately upon it's release, right??

The only catch with the regular s9 of course is no dual camera like the s9+, Note 8 or iPhone X. If size is more important then it's definitely the logical choice.
my buddy was nice enough to lend me his to try out for fun
I wonder if the S9 will have 4GB RAM and the S9+ will have 6GB ?The only catch with the regular s9 of course is no dual camera like the s9+, Note 8 or iPhone X. If size is more important then it's definitely the logical choice.

I found the same thing. My last Note was the Note 7. After giving it up for the second time I was fed up and just got some money back by "downgrading" to the S7 (non-edge). I realized that as a guy who needs his phone everywhere in my front left pocket it was a pleasant surprise to go smaller again. I have been patiently waiting on my natural upgrade cycle to check out the S9.One thing I've learned is that I really prefer a smaller phone. I'm a front right pocket guy. The Note 8 sticks out of the top of most pockets!I found the same thing. My last Note was the Note 7. I guess this must be a fashion thing. I don't have a single pair of pants that my note 8 sticks out of. Jeans, shorts, dress pants, khakis, or sweatpants. It fits in all of them without issue. It's normally in the Samsung rugged case too. Still no issues.I'm a front right pocket guy. The Note 8 sticks out of the top of most pockets!
