Does anyone else notice their phone get warm. When I use the Nav or heavy data watching videos online the back of the phone gets warm. Not hot, but warm enough for me to notice. Could this be a defective battery?

No, these phones do that, especially during heavy use. If it gets too hot to touch, then you have a problem, but just warm is just the phone working.

If it bothers you, set it down for a few minutes on a cool table. It'll cool off quick.

Anyone have the S 4G Shut down if too warm?

Just got mine last Saturday, used it a bit yesterday, and had it get warm, too. Funny but it got warm, vibrated once, then twice, then shut down completely. I called Samsung first, then TMobile, and had to do a hard reboot to get it to work correctly again. I may be replacing it if this occurs again. Only have 2 weeks to make any changes......

Anyone else have this occur??

That's not normal...if it happens again take it in and get it replaces. It'll definitely be covered under warranty.

Same thing happened here.
After resetting was working fine for a while. Had only 2 of the bumps.
Service was so so, slow.

Check the running services.
After killing the 2 that were "trying" to restart, telanav and sns( something?) Phone has worked with out a glich for 22 hours and counting.

Since am in that return window till the 21st. Will reboot tomorrow sometime.
Hate having to work to enjoy the phone.
