Back panel is loose?

I just got my Transformer today and noticed that the back panel right around the volume and power buttons is a little loose and raised, so that I can press down on it and it'll sink in a bit. Everywhere else it sits flush and doesn't move when I press against the edge. So I was wondering if anyone else had this issue - whether it was a normal thing, or if I should look to get it exchanged? Thanks!

Mine does the same on the side by the power button. Started to get a little creaky a few days after getting it, but hasn't gotten any worse since (week or two ago.)

same for me, in same spot, behind volume rocker / power button.

seems ok hope it doesn't get worse

Are there any people who have one where it's not loose? I wonder if it was a common manufacturing defect.

I bought my TF from Newegg oh about 3 weeks ago, mine does not have this issue at all, back panel is tighly on all around, no warping, no pushing in, creaking, etc.

Oh and another thing, how would you even know if it pushed in to begin with without trying to push on it real hard as a test? When I hold my tablets I don't hold them with force enough to possibly move the bezel etc.

You don't have to push hard. Just holding it from that edge is enough to make it creek and move a bit.

Mine creaks a bit in the lower left hand corner. I not bothered withit though since it does not impede with any of the transformer functions.

Exactly the same issue with my Asus Transformer. I bought it 3 weeks ago (Netherlands).
I'll return to the vendor tomorrow. I keep you posted on the outcome; looks like a structural issue.

Update (11-Aug): I just went to the vendor. He said that the issue was not "big" enough to take it back and have it replaced under warranty.
I will ship it to Asus repair center (Europe, Czechoslovakia) tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

Update (22-Aug): Today I got my EEE-pad after repair. I am not 100% sure what the replaced. I guess they repllaced the plastic backpanel:
- the issue is almost solved; there is still a very little play between backpanel and rim
- the transparent stickers with s/n etc are clearly being re-attached (not well aligned and a small air bubble underneath)

Anyway: I am very pleased I have my toy back. It was worthwhile replacing. My compliments to DHL for their track/trace functionality.
And also for ASUS: they have a similiar track/trace wrt the repair status.
