Backed up and reset LG viruses still there and system pop up glitch HELP

A few days ago my phone life started to go down when the YApp lock-screen downloaded itself onto my phone and started downloading viruses and malware onto my LG. No matter what I did the viruses wouldn't leave. Before I tried rooting my phone and losing the warente, I Backed up & Reset my phone after saving my files onto Drive. All my research told me my phone would be clean and I would be able to start over. But when the LG turned on YApp was still there and so were the viruses. And now I keep getting a 'Unfortunately, system is down' pop up that wont go away no matter how many times I press 'OK' and something called 'Smart Touch' has made my touch screen button on the bottom of my screen unresponsive and the only way to go to my Home screen is to use it, after struggling to set it to the Home screen, the other option is System but that never works and I can't find anything downloaded by that name.

I'm mad and upset. I spent hours backing up photos and notes around the stupid viruses and now I've lost everything BUT the viruses. Please Help! I don't want to have to get a new phone.

Welcome to the forums. Have you done the reset and re-setting up the device with the device automatically restoring from Google Play? If you have, try again without that (or stop all apps from downlaoding). Perhaps that will help?
