Backed Up Data Not Loading and Native MSN Client Not Working

Frustrated as heck with this phone right now; I followed the backup directions on Android Central (Backup Pro, AppBrain, Etc.) with my DroidX then the procedure for restoring to the new SGIII and it doesn't work. The backed up data won't load onto my SGIII and most of the media on my DroidX phone (taken pictures, taken videos, and downloaded videos) will not play or open on the SGIII. What did I screw up?

Also, the native hotmail app from Samsung won't work; I had to download the hotmail app from the Play Store to get that email to sync. Again, what did I screw up or are others getting this same issue?

Lastly, the battery didn't last me as long as I expected; pulled it off the charger at 530am and it was down to 17% at 345p today. All I did was watch 11 minutes of Youtube, read some GMail, read some texts, and delete the some folders this morning. My DroidX with an extended battery goes to 30% battery around 5pm with heavier use during the day.

If you used Backup Pro and are having problems, contact them - I did and had exceptional customer service who walked me through the resolution of my problem.

I too had issues with native MSN but if you go back and delete the account(s) created in the setup wizard and try installing again with the Windows Live icon (make take multiple tries but will "catch" eventually).

Can't address your specific battery issues - mine has been absolutely fabulous. Might want to get your task manager and ensure unneeded applications are closed and not pulling on your battery.
