Backed up samsung S3 lost everything help!

Hey, new to this forum and need help big time. I used samsung kies to back up all my pictures and it took about an hour (500+ pics) ejected my phone when it was done properly. I then got a brand new samsung s3 and went to upload them onto my new phone and to my surprise they were nowhere to be found. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

First, welcome to AndroidCentral and the forums!

I don't use Kies so I'm kind of shooting from the hip. When you open Kies are you able to see the photos in any directory? There should be a folder on the computer with the Kies data, including photos unless Kies transfers pictures to the computers default photo gallery or folder.

Welcome to the forums!

I don't really use Kies to back up my photos. I put all my photos on my SD card, and then use my card reader on my PC. It tends to be much faster that way. However, Kies has to have a subfolder somewhere. You may have to do some digging through the program files on your PC to find them.
