Backing up before flashing

will titaniupbackup or mybackupPro save my progress in games (i.e. angry birds) or is there another way to save my progress before flashing a new ROM?

Make sure you don't backup and restore system data to a new rom though. That can screw things up.

Follow Cyber Warriors guide on flashing and you'll be good to go.

also if im using clockworkmod recovery to backup my stuff, do i even need to backup using titaniumbackup? or is that doing the same thing? sorry im a noob

Titanium Backup for APPS only.

CWR is like Norton Ghost. Takes a snapshot of your phone in its current state that you can revery back to. (IE, your flash FFFF's up. If it doesn't FFFF up you can then use Titanium to bring all the apps back )
