Backing Up my phone?

I am switching to another android device and I want to backup all of my photos but nothing is working for me. When I plug it into my mac it says I have 900 pics and because it is loading all the bloatware crap from ATT. I just my my 500 photos backed up and my texts backed up. That is all I really care about. I tried Android File Transfer it makes absolutely no sense to me. I Click pictures and it only gives me screenshots. I installed kies and it isn't doing anything for me. What do I do?

Try installing dropbox on your phone and computer. Then upload everything into dropbox. From there you can move it to a small data card and put it in another phone.

I have a paid Photobucket account, they have an Android app that will upload the photos on my phone to my account. I also have Carbonite for my PC, and the droid app will also upload your photos to your account.

I have that too. The only thing is that it ruins the quality of videos. Any solutions?

Another option if you want to back up/transfer them via SD card is My Backup Pro.
