the easiest way to backup contacts and photos for a non-techie is to get LookOut Mobile Security, make a free account via the app, and back the 2 up. Google wont save contacts unless you told it to do so in contacts app. Photos can be put back on the computer, but you will need to connect to the computer via USB, put phone in USB mass storage mode, find all your pics, and copy/paste to computer. Camera pics are in the DCIM folder. as for the other pics, from specific apps, they will be either in the download fodler, pictures folder, or app folder. ......... do this same process for sync'd music and videos, except music should be in music folder and videos in the Video folder. Camcorder video is in the DCIM folder... just copy/paste to computer.......... app.... Playstore remember everything you have every downloaded. for me, it remember apps I download back in 2008 LOL. but it will not save app settings. You'll need to root the phone and get Titanium Backup for that special function........... as for your "data information", i have no idea what you mean.... text messages can be backup by SMSbackup app. Call history--no bloody need to save that. But if you need it, get the app for that too.
i never used motocast. Personally, i like to backup the old fashion way rather than having a program do it. lol thats just me
