Is there any way to back up my handwritten notes to a cloud account like Google Drive or Evernote, that will make it possible to also view the notes from another device like my iPad or laptop?

The old Samsung "S-Notes" app allowed Evernote sync, but I don't see an option in the new Notes.

Under settings and then accounts there is Evernote and your samsung account.

I'm sorry that I confused the two apps in the original post. I mean the new "Samsung Notes" app, which by default stores all notes entered with the S-Pen, does not allow syncing with Evernote anymore. The old S-Notes app does. Are you saying that you can sync notes drawn with the "Samsung Notes" app to Evernote?

looks like that can only be synced with your samsung account, but that is better than nothing.

Hmm, to me that's worse than nothing actually, because having an extra cloud account for notes to look into drastically increases clutter. I don't want to buy into Samsung's ecosystem. I didn't pay $1k on a phone to be told what cloud services to use with its main selling point hardware feature (the S-pen). This, to me, is a deal breaker. I'll return the phone if I can't find a solution by the last possible return date.

You can 'share' the note and send it to drive. you could also long less on the note and 'copy all' then paste it to something else and send it. You do have to save it first though, then go back into it to do these.

I know this is old. However I am getting ready to wipe my phone as a troubleshooting measure. I wanted to ensure I have my notes backed up too.

Install smart switch for PC.

If you get an error trying to run it, install Microsoft visual c++2008 sp1 x86
