I am having trouble with Verizon's backup assistant. I never entered a password in it when I setup the phone and once setup, went through settings and disabled/unmarked all items (ie, backup music).
Problem comes with the music player in that when I open up playlist tab, the "syncing backup assistant pro" pops up in the notification area, then disappears after a second, and the tab waits for another 5 seconds before it lists anything.
Going through application manager, there were 2 backup assistants pros listed. was using 36 kb, shows as version 2, and cannot be disabled. Other shows as 0k used, version 1, and could be disabled (of which I did). But no effect.
Any ideas on how to resolve this? If not disabling Verizon's crap, then how to negate the effects on music player .
