Hi,

As photographer i want to backup, while on the road, my photos on the CF card to the cloud using my Note 8. Not using the note 8 memory...

Has anyone experience with this?

You can set the SD card as default storage but you have probably done that already, then you should be able to set automatic backup of photos to either Google photos or to your Samsung account, it would use up a lot of data though, I think mine only back up photos when on wifi

You can use the OTG connector that came with the Note 8 and connect a CF card reader to it and do your transfer straight to Google Photos or whatever cloud storage app you use.

Just for your education:

There's no SD card here. A CF card is a Compact Flash card. It's completely different (and about a 5 year older design than an SD card). But, as strikeIII said, there are CF adapters that can be used with OTG adapters (or cables) or have OTG built in.
