backup question ?

i had my s4 pickpoceted in tenerife last week so my wife has given me hers can i reset her's back to factory settings and then put a backup on it from my old phone that i did a day or two before we went on holidays ? thanks

If both the phones are same then you can restore the backup. This is how customs roms work.
Which tool did you used to make a backup? Is your phone rooted

phone is not rooted and i used kies 3 to backup
