All I want to do is backup my messages and contacts. It should not be necessary to give permission to make calls on my phone to do this? All the apps that I have looked at are asking for permissions they should not need to do this. Getting a little frustrated here.

should have added more detail. LG V60, I want to connect to my computer and backup to computer so I can restore from the computer.
