backwards ff camera

Just used the front facing camera and noticed that it was like looking in a mirror. (words on shirt were backwards). After going into settings and turning off mirror mode, the image on screen flipped upside down! Words on shirt were no longer backwards though. Is this common? This was the first time that I have used the ff camera.

click on the option menu, and turn mirror mode off.

solution=turn phone sideways to the left.
not a great solution--but who doesn't like Landscape photos/video chat?

dang. this has to be an overlooked coding or software limitation that's not really come to light.

I've found that doing a hand stand fixes the problem but seriously ... yea, you need to use it in landscape mode. I guess they were thinking more of video chatting then taking self portraits of yourself when they built the phone. I haven't used Skype on the Bolt yet but if you use Skype on a computer... the picture you see of yourself is mirrored but the picture of yourself that the other person sees is normal.

Speaking of FF cameras, did you guys notice that Qik video chat app is available on all Android phones. I also didn't realize that Qik is owned by Skype...CHECK OUT THE STORY.

lol...Qik came stock on the Evo. It works well on the bolt, and we've been using for months on ours at work. Someone had already posted that nugget on here long ago, but everyone was hung up on Skype-proper so it was ignored.
