Bad 3G signal with my EE Samsung s4

Basically every time I try to use the internet on my 3g it is unbelievably slow. Sometimes it takes 2 minutes to load google search. I understand that the H -HSDPA is quicker but when I change my settings to pick up all signals it always prefers to use 3g even though H -HSDPA is quicker. At the moment I have set my signal to H -HSDPA only which is good but I want my fone to be actively looking for 3G,H -HSDPA and LTE rather than just H -HSDPA. Can someone help me please as I've only had this fone 3 days

You should of gone on the all you can eat data plan with 3 and all customers get 4g signal as standard when they launch lte on their network. I can't be of any help with how EE's network works.
