Bad battery life after August update

After receiving update for August patch, battery life on nexus 6 has dropper significantly, someone else with this isssue or any help?

I am too facing faster battery drainage, the screen time has now reduced to close to 2 hours.

Usually a rogue app, what do your stats say for the battery? Uninstall the last app you installed and install it back after a reboot

I get the same as always. Probably some app doesn't that updated or doesn't play as well with the update.

My battery life is bad as well. I think it might be related to signal again. I'm seeing yellow and red signal instead of mostly green in battery history..Yesterday the phone hit a new low with about 6 hours.

Weak signal will definitely drain the battery more quickly. It's working hard to crank out enough power to stay connected to the tower. Also approaching two years of use could see some noticeable depreciation of the battery, though mine still seems pretty decent on 20 months of relatively heavy use.

I have noticed the same thing. I used to get nearly 4 hours on screen time, but since the August update that has cropped to just under 3 hours.

No issues with battery life here.

Same here, battery drainage is detected. Its used to last 1.5days, now it only lasts a day or less.

My battery has gone from amazing to terrible, I can't say which update. I was on the Note 7 for two months but back to the Nexus and I'm shocked how bad the battery is now.
