I bought a Droid a little while back and everything was fine. A few months later it broke so since i was still under warranty i got it replaced the next day for free. After i received the phone it was half broken when i got it it went on for about a month then my charger port broke. So, i went back and they told me they wouldn't replace it. After arguing on the phone for about an hour they told me they would send me out a new one. The next day my phone came in and when i turned it on it was acting up, such as deleting messages, turning itself on and off randomly, my internet will not connect unless im using a wifi and even then it barley works, but i ignored it. I've only had this phone for a week and it turned itself off and will not turn back on. Can i sue for them sending me broken phones constantly?

And they sent us 4 phones already and I still haven't been satisfied. Pissed spent 1200$on a phone bill and they still won't help

I wouldn't waste your time trying to sue them, but, you should call and ask to speak to a supervisor or a manager. Explain to them the situation, and, demand that they make it right and send you a phone that works. And, for your headache, say their replacement refurb process isn't working, and, that you would like them to make it right and make it up to you by replacing your phone with a new phone. It can't hurt. Be polite, but firm, and, you'll get them to take care of you.

This is why i get the service plan and warranty. If it breaks or reboots randomly i can take back for a replacement. I know its $$ every month but you will have a phone that works eventually. My droid x2 works fine. I hope you get a working one soon. Its a nice phone. Good luck!

I agree. It's seven bucks a month with Verizon for TEC, but, I think it's worth it. I never have to worry about my phone in any way. Phones are so expensive, I wouldn't want to get stuck paying for one out of pocket.

I generally don't buy into this stuff, but, for a phone, it's definitely worth it. I mean, it goes everywhere with you and is constantly being used. I have a bad habit of dropping my phone too. :p

I learned that the hard way in the past and learned the benefits with my storm 1 and 2. You know i complain when my x2 reboots but its nothing like the storms. X2 boots <1 min.. storm in like 10 mins. I had a job interview call where my storm 2 rebooted twice in the middle of the call.. talk about stress. Traded in the phone that day.

You have to get the service plan and the warranty from verizon. $0 deductible if your phone is acting up. Nice to avoid the $50 or $100 deductible when its not your fault that there is a problem.

It depends. My last X2 somehow worked it's way up to a two minute boot. But, my new one boots in like 30 seconds probably. Quick enough that I haven't even cared to time it. Wow, that sucks having it reboot in an interview!!

Agreed, TEC is worth it. Extension of manufacturer warranty forever is great. And, with my phone, the insurance deductible is only 90 bucks. Better than paying full price. I used to be careless with my old phones, and, I swore when I got a smart phone I'd take such good care of it. Well, I'm over that now and I just treat it like any other phone. Haha.
