Bad software update

I just installed the newest T-mobile software update this morning and after it was all completed all my icons disappeared. They are still in the app drawer but missing from the homescreen. I have to place one app at a time. This is a first time I've ever seen this. Could it be a bad install? I even restarted it and same result.

Is it stock android or custome? I just update mine and have tmobile and it was fine kept my icons on the homescreen.

Its stock as you can get.

Yes. It downloaded overnight all I had to do was restart to install. Forgot all about that there was a update for this.

Can you restore your settings from a Samsung backup?

Wifi in our house. Never had a bad experience before with T-mobile updates

Its strange it would do that , but for most part everything else seems ok ?

Yeah everything seems fine except to rearrange the homescreen again.

If you had a backup through smart switch or Samsung cloud you can restore home screen

I tried and didn't work. But that's ok, I can rearrange myself.

Strange it didn't work, ok cool
