Banging my head! This is strange

Hi All!

I have recently purchased two HTC Evo phones on Ebay. Of course both have their own issues, they aren't perfect!

The one I chose to activate on my account is on Firmware version 2.1-update1 and the other is on Android version 2.3.5.

When I went to software update - check for updates on the phone I have activated, it tells me the phone is currently updated. This can't be true, because if it were it would be at 2.3.5 correct?

Also, when I connect this phone via WiFi to the Android Market, it disconnects me from WiFi when the app is downloading and then reconnects when it is done installing.

What is wrong with this phone?

I'd like to activate the 2.3.5 version phone but it has some screen issues.

If I could only combine them both into one!

LOL yes you're probably right.

Sprint should be able to update in store if you take it. It's a hassle but Worth it if you want the latest software for the Evo. You can also give them a call and see if they can push the update.
