barcode scanner app issue

The issue I am having with the app is sharing contacts. Everytime I try to generate a code to share a contact it doesn't do anything. It works fine sharing bookmarks and app but not my contacts. Does anyone have an idea why?

This app has had several updates since this problem. For a while, it would just show a list of numbers instead of contact names. Then it would show contact names but when you went to generate the QR code, it would usually be for the wrong contact.

I installed Android 2.2 last night and now it is working properly. Every contact I selected worked. Even scanned several in with my old WinMo phone and they worked.
