Mom is ready for an upgrade but doesn't want one. Battery life is horrible and is getting tired of sense and wants to try just pure google. What is a good rom for someone that isnt that good with tech, that has awesome battery life and performance, working wimax and nothing is wrong with it minus very little bugs. And for the battery, what is a good extended battery that isnt fat? Like a few extra mha to keep it the same thickness but packs a punch when it comes to battery life

I think Cyanogen is a little overrated, but in your case, I think that is exactly the ROM you need. Their builds are all pretty solid. The question is do they support that device?
As far as Extended batteries, all the ones I can think of are considerably bigger in size. Have you considered just buying a factory replacement? The original battery may just be showing it's age.

I agree with GolfDriver97. I think either Cyanogen Rom or AOKP are two of the most well known and stable. There are some others but those two have the longest track records.

The battery life has always been very poor but i'll take a look at those roms
