battery after oreo

Hey guys! I'm on the boat of seldomly worse battery life on Oreo. I know that you all suggest that people factory reset to make everything fresh, but where can I back up all of my data so that I don't lose anything? I am happy with my current set up through and through.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
