Battery Breakthrough

Hi guys!

I'm new to the forum, but I wanted to share a new tech breakthrough I read about some time ago.

Basically, it talks about a battery technology breakthrough, which makes batteries 30 times more powerful and a 1000x faster to recharge. There are currently safety issues, but imagine the possibilities. Yes, in the smartphone market, but in technology in general ? The article says you could jumpstart your car with your cellphone battery!

That tech, if real, is going to change the world.

We're long overdue for advancements in battery technology, and not just in the mobile industry. Mobile tech has advanced rapidly while the battery technology used had remained more or less the same since the rise of 'smartphones'.

The scariest thing is batteries are one of the worse things you want to go wrong. I remember those stories about people's laptops' and phones' batteries just bursting into flames and burning people.

Yeah you're right.

Batteries are one of the most important tech, yet it is still underdevelopped.
