Battery % changes

My phone was hit by the bootloop and have had it back for 10 ish days now. Ever since it's return the battery % jumps up and down. For example, earlier it was at 75% during a 20 min drive with Waze (screen off) it jumped to 2% then up to 5% and then 55% and back and forth. It affects both batteries (One is from when I got the phone~6/16 and the other is 1/17) and wasn't like this prior to the loop. Any ideas or suggestions before I jump ship with this phone?View attachment 284874

Your battery is throwing dendrites (see Lithium Battery Dendrite links if you want to know more). It has to be replaced. (Depending on how honest the repair shop is, they could have put a bad battery into your phone and now have yours.)

TY, I'll check out the info. Guess it's time to look for new batteries and hope they are genuine oem or find a good aftermarket one.

The phone was repaired (motherboard) by LG under warranty. The original battery was the only one sent with the phone.

I wonder if that has anything to do with my batteries dying at 25-30% in the phone but when hooked up to the charger showing 5% or lower? That's pretty fascinating information on batteries though. Thanks for sharing it.
