battery % charged no longer appears while charging

I used to have this battery %charged when I plugged my epic in, now no longer appears while charging, it just says "charging" anyone else have this issue?

I already have that widget and its a great suggestion but I am wondering if any one else had the above issue when the phone is plugged in and charging and the screen is locked previously it used to display %charged but not anymore. Thanks for your suggestion though

At first my phone never displayed a battery percentage when charging. I thought it should've had it since my previous phone, the Samsung Intercept, displayed the percentage. But after a while, I randomly noticed it displayed again. Not sure what fixed it or what the issue was, but maybe it'll pop up again for you eventually.

My phone still has it displayed... like right now it's charging with the icon indicating that it is doing so and showing 91% at my lock screen...

Just figured out why the phone doesn't show the % charged when plugged in. Its bizare, not sure if its only my phone, but its a weird little quirck.

You have to have an alarm set up for it to display the % charged. When I use the alarm clock app and have an alarm set up... when I charge my phone on the lock screen it shows the alarm time and the % charged.

If I dont have an alarm set up, on the lock screen it just says "charging" but no % information.

Does everyone's phone do this too?
