Battery charging icon won't go away?

Had the phone since launch, just noticed the charging symbol on the battery isn't going away. Happening to anyone else? Fixes? Thanks.

could easily be a software issue but have you done the simple thing like take the battery out?

Yes sir as well as a sim card pull and factory reset. Just started happening today.

Exchange it... too new to have issues like that if you have done the reset, bat pull, and sim...

You mean when the phone is on, on the blue? I have yet to have it go away, even at full. I called VZW; it didn't go away on their model there nor a nearby RAZR.

It does go away when the phone is off, revealing an all white battery.

The lightning bolt on the battery. It kept causing my phone to turn the screen on as well. Just exchanged my phone

Oh yeah mean when the phone is powered off but is charging, correct? Yeah mine doesn't do that lol

When the phone is powered on I mean. The blue battery has the lightning bolt and was causing huge battery drain.

Yes sir. Called tech support and they made a notation on the account. No hassle easy exchange.

Ok good to hear. At first I was worried that the icon staying on past full charge was destroying your battery. I sorta sharted a bit with that presumption lol
