battery compatibility

I have the opportunity to acquire a couple of 4300mAh batteries but are for the I9600. Are they compatible with any galaxy s device? Of course specifically the s5? Thanks in advance.

The battery is likely different physically (size) and won't work with prior 'S' devices - I have not compared the S5 battery with other devices, so can't say for sure. As mentioned above, don't use it if it wasn't meant for your device. Also, be cautious when purchasing battery replacements that are dirt cheap. Last thing you want is a phone with hardware damage because a $2.00 battery purchased online caused problems.

This exactly. I only buy Samsung batteries for my Samsung phones. It is too expensive to take the chance on a cheap battery overheating my device or blowing up inside my phone. 650 for a phone, it's worth 30 for a battery.
