battery cover problem

I have a problem with my Evo (well, I have lots of problems with my Evo, but this thread is about a specific one). The battery cover isn't flush with the back of the phone. No matter how I try to wrangle it, I can't quite get it to fit right.

I was going to exchange my phone at radio shack, but RS is totally hosing me on the exchange saying they have no inventory, so I'll have to wait until my 30 day exchange is up, then send my phone in to radio shack for a repair (how the heck do they expect me to go without a phone for 2 weeks?). I'm considering returning my phone and waiting for my name to come up on the waiting list at a corporate sprint store but I don't want to go back to my mogul or end up with a 60-day wait period.

Anyway, I'm going to take my phone to sprint and if they can fix my problems with a repair, I'm just going to keep my phone.

Has anyone else seen this battery cover problem? Is there an easy fix? Any advice on how to get RS to cooperate with me?

Mine wouldn't fit flush either....picked my phone up day 1. I went last week and got them to swap me out a back from a new phone....the newer ones are more rubberized seems to me....but it fits flush now so all is good...

I have the same problem, the battery cover is not flush with the device specially on the left side when holding it. If I push down on it it moves and if I let go it goes back up. Will visit radioshack later on today and I'll let you guys know what happens, before the 30 days are up.
