I purchased an extra battery for my Captivate due to moderate to high usage needs, the only issue is I need somewhere to charge the battery while it's not in the phone. I can't find a "battery dock" made by Samsung, which I would prefer because the only other option I've found is a battery dock made it China on eBay, and I really don't want to put my OEM batteries in a $4.50 charger made in China and ruin the batteries. Help?

Battery Charger W/ Stand, Includes 1500mA Battery & Wall Charger

Though, just like everything else useful, its out of stock. I'm waiting for the extended battery version anyway.

All I know of is the battery charger that Amzer is selling, slated to ship on the 30th of this month. In other words, it'll accomplish what you want, but I don't think it qualifies as a "dock." I'm probably gonna be preordering it along with an extra battery, I'm in the same situation you're in.

No matter who's name is on the side, it's made in China...

And there are many of us using the cheap Chinese batteries and chargers for the Evo without issue.

stock charger: Output voltage: DC 5V, 700mA
eBay charger: Output voltage: DC 4.2V, 350mA

As long as this isn't an issue, I'll order it now...

At 350mA it'll take twice as long to charge as the stock charger. Also, you won't get a completely charged battery (less than 90% (4.2V instead of 5V)).
