Battery drain doing nothing

I have an iPad and Nexus 7. When I leavd them home, I noticed that Nexus drained battery faster; 90% vs 98% remaining after 12 hours from full charge.

Is it because Android does true multitasking?

I rooted, installed a new kernel, and this problem went away. FYI.

My phone would do it as well as my tablet, I always think its checking emails, apps are always checking the net to it'd always doing something.

Face book always drains the battery to its set to update always by default so go to the settings and set it

Hmm I don't understand this. iPad is checking as my email accounts as Nexus, and I disabled most auto sync by Google apps.
