Battery Drain from Samsung service...

I I went into my apps to see if any of them were misbehaving, and I found that the Find My Mobile app by Samsung consumed over 20% of the battery. I'm not sure if this is the actual battery usage of this one service, or rather is just the conglomerate use of "Android OS".

Is this behavior normal for this one service?

You might want to try clearing the cache on the app or on the phone itself. That usually fixes those sorts of problems

That's the total amount of battery used since the last time you charged it.

Find My Phone uses almost no battery at all. (If you want to see battery usage, either go to Settings/Battery or run GSam Battery Monitor.)

No this is not true, it is 2022 and that apps sucks up the battery super fast. On my S22 before the one ui 5 update i've turned it off and started to see 5hrs of screen on time instead of 2,5 on average. But somehow after the one ui 5 update even it seems turned off it accessed my location a huge amount of time and caused 25 percent battery drain almost all the time. I've set its battery usage to restricted and lets hope it fixes the issue. I only need it when i need to check my smarttag locations.

Unfortunately this is almost the only place someone told about that weird issue And this is 2022 and it is still the case for samsung devices

Things have changed in that time period , Andriod versions how apps sleep , should make a new thread on your issues not try correct someone from different date
