Battery drain high

Since getting GB pushed to my TB my battery went from lasting about 8 hours to only lasting about 3 hours. I've rebooted a few times and the new battery graph keeps saying that my display is on and using power about 25% of the time. Just looking for some suggestions on why the display is on that long when I haven't changed anything. Does the display use more power now with GB? Thank you.

I swapped down to the stock battery frim the 2750 and have almost 10 hrs w light use today ans have 53% left so far so good..forgit how great the phone feels w the slim battery

I'm feeling the opposite, I went from 6 hours to 9-12 hours. I am pretty impressed with the update's effect on battery life.

Needs to settle in @ least 48 hours. & battery is fantastic with no problems.

My battery life has been a lot better after the update

I too switched back to the stock battery from the htc extended battery.

before gingerbread I could get 4-6 hours Max.

today I got 12 1/2 hours before the low battery warning. That is with pretty typical use for me.

So I'm thrilled with battery life after the update.

Yeah, I have seem more of an improvement with the update. I use the extended battery and Now (and keep in mind that I am a light user, just email, text, and maybe a game at night on the couch) but went a good solid day before I needed to charge it up, and even then I wasn't "low", probably about 40% and that was yesterday. Last time it was on the charger would have been Wednesday.

I actually ordered a stock battery this week so I could try that and use my old case that I got for it. I just want to see how the stock compares to the extended in my daily routines. Either way I would say that power management has so for greatly improved. (and I am still convinced the battery that came with my TB was just bad).
