This is the strangest thing ever. I live in Austin TX but work occasionally in Houston. When in Austin my battery life is fantastic. I can easily go 2 days and sometimes even 3 days between charging. Whenever I visit Houston something very strange it's happening. The radio seems to be hyper active here. I am not on the phone. But the arrows under the 3g and 4g are lit up frequently. Google services and Android system are burning up the battery. It will drain my phone in 4-5 hours if I let it. the phone actually gets warm in my pocket (no jokes ;-). About the only thing I can do to keep it from draining the battery is to activate airplane mode. What the heck is going on?

I noticed the same thing on my GS4 when I went up to Sequioa. The hotel I was staying at was in Tulare and the battery drained like 9% in 30 minutes. I wasn't using it and I had no apps running. Anyone know why this happens only in certain cities?
